Biju Menon’s tiger issue for ‘Marubhoomiyile Aana’ sorted out
Biju Menon is shooting for ‘Marubhoomiyile Aana’ which is being canned in Doha. The movie had a sequence which has Biju Menon stepping out of a car with a tiger. A mishap occurred during the shoot when the tiger which belonged to an Arab brought for the shoot escaped from the Arab’s car at a traffic signal and casually walked out in the traffic. The video of the loose tiger on the prowl went viral and the authorities got whiff of the incident, though the animal was brought back into the car soon.
The Arab and two crew members were arrested in connection with this and the team had to shell out a hefty fine to the tune of 1 lakh to sort out the issue and get them released. The producer David Kachappilly says that it is common in Arab nations to have tigers as pet. But the incident has caused him to loose a hefty sum. V K Prakash is directing the movie and the tiger will be very much part of the movie.
‘Marubhoomiyile Aana’ started rolling at Doha (Qatar). Biju Menon does the lead role in this film directed by V K Prakash.
Biju Menon is seen in Arab attire in the movie. Samskriti Shenoy, Sanoosha, Major Ravi, Krishna Sankar, Lalu Alex, Pashanam Shaji, Soubin, and Arun Ghosh also do prominent roles.
Ratheesh Vegha is the music director. The cinematography is done by Ajay David Kachappilly.
