Dhyan Sreenivasan team up for a love story
Dhyan Sreenivasan co-starred with his brother Vineeth in Kunjiramayanam, but hasn’t yet acted with his father.
For the first time ever, he will share screen space with Sreenivasan, in Rajesh Nair’s next and they will play a father-son duo. Interestingly, love will be the premise of the film, and their characters will “breathe love, and live for love” in the musical romcom.
“Dhyan’s character has just finished college, and the story revolves around his love affair with a neighbour girl. It will be a realistic love story told through humour. The father is still very much in love with his wife, and the son grows up imbibing that concept of love,” says Rajesh. “The relationship between the father and son also has an important part in the movie.” The duo will have equally important roles in the film, and it will be a kind of ”acting competition” between the two, says Rajesh.
The story will be set in the early 2000s, in a rural setting, and Dhyan will be seen in a completely new look altogether. The film will have seven songs, composed by debutant Prakash Alex. “We are on the lookout for a new actress for the movie as well,” he says. The film will be scripted by Oppam scribe Govind Vijayan and debutant Rajesh Radhakrishnan, and will go floors on July 1.
