Jaipur gets set for Jackie Chan’s ‘Kung Fu Yoga’
The cast and crew of upcoming Indo-Chinese film ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ were spotted shooting for the film at Mansingh Palace of Amber Fort on Sunday. The shooting unit has set up a local market inside the palace premises. Jackie Chan will reportedly begin shooting on March 23. Jackie Chan will stay in the Pink City for 15 days where actors Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur too will join the Chinese superstar and later they will head to Beijing for the next schedule.
It is reported that the Hindi film stars have performed some adrenalin-pumping action sequences for the movie. Directed by Stanley Tong, the action comedy film is also shot here and Iceland. This is not the first time ‘The Legend of Drunken Master’ star will be visiting India. He paid a visit to the country in 2013 and earlier has even collaborated with India Bollywood beauty Mallika Sherawat in his 2005 film ‘The Myth’.
Action star Jackie Chan will be visiting India on March 21 to shoot for his upcoming Indo-Chinese film “Kung Fu Yoga”, which also stars Bollywood actors Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur.
Chan will be staying in Jaipur, revealed Sonu.
“Jackie is coming to India on March 21. He will be staying in Jaipur. He will be here for 15 days. We have finished one schedule and now gearing up for Indian shoot and then we will head for Beijing,” the “Happy New Year” actor told reporters at the red carpet of second edition of the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA).
The action-adventure is set to release this October.
Heaping praise on 61-year-old Chan, Sonu said he is every actor’s dream co-star.
“He is one of the most humble actors I have ever worked with. He is very hardworking. It is a dream come true for any actor to work with him,” said the 42-year-old actor.
