King Liar

King Liar, is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language comedy film directed by Lal. The screenplay is written by Siddique. It stars Dileep and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. The film is produced by Ousepachan Valakuzhy under his production house Ousepachan Movie House. The soundtrack album and original score are composed by both Alex Paul and Deepak Dev. Inspired by Dany Boon’s 2014 comedy film Supercondriaque, King Liar revolves around the character Sathyanarayanan, played by Dileep, who is diagnosed with pseudologia fantastica. The film is scheduled to release on 27 March 2016.The filming was started at Kochi on 21 October 2015. The film went on floors 10 days after the scheduled date and started rolling on 21 October 2015. It will be shot in Kuttanad and Dubai as well.King Liar is the title of Sidhique Lal’s come back movie with Dileep in the lead. In this film Dileep plays a young guy who opens his mouth only to eat and telling lies.The dream combo directors Siddique and Lal are back again. The hit duo is set to direct a movie after a gap of 20 years and is reportedly a Dileep starrer titled “King Liar”.
The expectations are too high as Siddique-Lal team had brought out some of the best comedy movies in Malayalam, including “Ramji Rao Speaking”, “In Harihar Nagar”, “God Father”, “Vietnam Colony” and “Kabooliwala”. Though all these films were huge hits, it was “In Harihar Nagar”, which broke all the records by running over 373 days in theatres.

Post the release of “Kabooliwala” in 1993, the duo split for some unknown reasons. After their split, Siddique continued his passion and went on to conquer the industry by directing hit films like “Hitler”, “Friends”, “Chronic Bachelor”, “Body Guard”, “Kaavalan” and “Ladies and Gentleman”.
