Priyanka Chopra to Experiment with mobile series : The actress has joined hands with the subscription driven video entertainment mobile app NexGTV and the celebrity digital network Fluence for the said series titled “It’s My City”. It is co-produced by Endemol-Shine India and Priyanka Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures.
After finishing the first season of ABC’s Quantico in the USA, in which she stars, and winning accolades at home for her turn in Indian blockbuster Bajirao Mastani, Priyanka Chopra is now ready to make headlines with a foray into production. “The thought behind It’s My City is progressive… to go where the young audience has moved and to connect with them in a style that they can identify with, and for me personally, to engage with them in a whole new way”. The show will be a 14-part mobile only series and episodes will air every Friday and Tuesday.

Announcing the new project via a tweet and a sneak-peek video of the show, Priyanka posted on Thursday: “It’s here @ItsMyCity_ @PurplePebblePic’s 1st mobi-series with @nexgtv_mobileTV on Jan 22”.

The flamboyant actress will also feature in it. They live together in a flat in Mumbai and mirror the reality of everyday life in India’s city of dreams. Priyanka will have special appearances in a role of their landlady, who also shares a friend like relationship with the girls.
