Rajini Murugan release postponed
The weather gods have played spoilsport for “Rajini Murugan” as the Tamil film has been postponed. The heavy rains leading to deadly floods have forced the makers to delay the release. The makers announced the news in a press release that “Rajini Murugan” has been delayed. But they have not revealed about their release plans. The Chennai city has been badly affected by the unprecedented rain. Several parts in and around the city have come to a standstill due to the unprecedented floods, which has hit the essential services like power and communication. Adding to this, trains and flight services have also been suspended till further notice.
Hence, it is wise from the makers to push the release as it would not have helped the film in anyway. However, the producer may have difficulties in finding a proper date for its release as many films are lined up for the release in the coming weeks. This might force them to postpone the film for next year, says an industry observer.Originally, “Rajini Murugan” was supposed to be released in the last week of September. The makers wanted to release the film in 500 screens, but they could not get so mnay screens due to other films, including Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s “Puli”.They felt post-Diwali would be an apt time as no films from A-list star would hit the screens during this time and locked in 4 December as the D-Day.
