Rima Kallingal about Surendran speech
Rima Kallingal expressed her view about the latest k Surendran speech controversy in Kerala. Yesterday PM of India Narendra Modi was addressing a crowd in Thrissur and the language in which he spoke was Hindi. K Surendran a BJP leader was there in the stage as the translator. But after a while he lost grip as Hindi words used by PM Narendra Modi became tougher. He was soon send to back side of the stage and president of BJP (Kerala) V Muraleedharan took over the translation. Anyhow this resulted in series of troll and memes in the name of K Surendran as he was the one who mocked a congress MLA and said that everybody should learn Hindi.
The troll soon shifted to personal insult and a series of trolls since yesterday is spreading in internet. A week before today CPI (M) MP Srimathi was trolled and mocked for her inability to speak English in the parliament.
Rima Kallingal wrote in her official Facebook page that,
Language is a mode to communicate. Proficiency in any language or the lack of it does not say anything about a person. From the Srimathi Teacher incident to the K.Surendran incident we Malayalees are exposing a weird complex we all inherit from where I do not know.Trolling and mud slinging on such low levels will only take out the importance of what we are actually looking at achieving. Peace.
