Suriya Asks His Fans Not To Support & Encourage His Own Movies?
Actor Suriya, who is awaiting the release of his next movie 24, is an anxious man. Having invested Crores of rupees into an ambitious project like 24, he would dearly be hoping for his upcoming movie to do well at the box office worldwide. But a true gentleman that he is, Suriya is not the one who will ask his fans to blindly watch his movies. In fact, he has requested his fans and well-wishers not to support and encourage bad movies, even if it is his own production.
According to a report from a leading daily, the Vaaranam Aayiram actor has asked his fans to help him grow as an actor by rejecting bad movies of his. He has said, “make my films a success if they are good. Don’t encourage bad films of mine. It is only when you reject such films that I will go in search of better scripts and grow as an actor.” Kudos to the actor-producer for being brutally honest with his fans and coming up with such a bold statement. It takes a producer lot of character and bravery to speak his/her mind out, right after investing lots of money in their film. Exposing his humanitarian side, the star actor has also expressed concern over the number of suicides committed by students during the ongoing exam season. “I read that more than 20 students committed suicide after seeing their Plus Two question paper. Please do not take such rash decisions. I, too, did not know what to do after completing college. So, have patience, and you will succeed in life,” he has said. Meanwhile, the trailer of 24 is receiving rave reviews from fans. Having already clocked 6.5 Lakh views and more than 29K likes, the trailer has enhanced the anticipation among fans, who are eagerly waiting for the release of the Vikram Kumar directorial.
